“And we'll ride throughout the land on white horses"

I admit I can't say when exactly I painted that (quite big, for me) acrylic piece on canvas (50*70cm). 

I only remember I think I read Halldór Laxness "Iceland's Bell" between 2012 and 2013.
This depicts two of the main characters of the story, Arnas Arnaeus and Snæfríður Íslandssól
whose following quote -  “And we'll ride throughout the land on white horses", which in fact never happened - inspired me that painting. 




The scene takes place in the area around Þingvellir, Iceland.

It's a perfect day

I already made a picture of her beautiful characters Cendre and her horse Poltergeist,
as a commission. 
Now it's other characters' turn :  
Cendre's foster father Tuhitep with his mare Pumpkin and his dog.
